By accessing or using ScanQRL (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ScanQRL allows you to create short links and customizable QR codes that redirect to destination URLs you provide, along with click/scan analytics for those links. Whenever a short link is opened, and whenever you register, log in, create or edit a link, or download a QR code, we log details such as IP address, approximate location, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, and whether the visit came from a known bot or crawler — see our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to create, host, or redirect to content or destinations that:

  • Are illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringe on the rights of others (including phishing or malware distribution);
  • Contain spam, malicious code, or attempt to disrupt the Service or other users;
  • Violate applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to disable any short link or QR code, and to suspend or terminate the associated account, that we believe violates this section.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the URLs, custom short codes, logos, and styling choices you submit ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as necessary to operate the Service (for example, generating and serving your QR code images and redirecting your short links).

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScanQRL and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
